The Jondachi River is a beautiful place and an ideal spot for rafting in the middle of the Ecuadorian rainforest. This activity can be enjoyed almost year-round because its currents flow continuously without obstacles. The area has a very pleasant climate and water temperatures throughout most of the year, which is ideal for tourists. This river also boasts spectacular Amazon rainforest scenery throughout its entire course. It is located in the Archidona Canton, 15 minutes from the town of Archidona. It is approximately 192 kilometers southeast of the city of Quito and can be reached by car in approximately 3 hours and 50 minutes.

This river has a Category II and III for rafting, with these levels classified as easy and moderate, perfect for less experienced rafters who can enjoy this fun adventure.
