Ruco Pichincha Volcano

 

Located at 13 Km in the North part of Quito City at 4784 meters (15696 ft.)

We will take the Teleferic located in the Mariscal Sucre Avenue of Quito, it is one of the highest chairlifts in the world, we will start in the Terminal with a height of 3117 m (10226 ft) where you can buy the tickets for the cable car & in few minute we can arrive to the high Station at 3945 m (12943 ft). For start the walk for 3 hours to the Rucu Pichincha summit.

 

In the final part, the ascent lasts about20 minutes and covers 2237 linear meters.
