BAÑOS CITY TOUR

 

Baños is a small city in the Province of Tungurahua and is an access route to the Amazon basin. It is known for its access to trails to the active Tungurahua Volcano in the south and for its mineral-rich hot springs. In the center of the town, we have the Church of Our Lady of the Holy Water has paintings depicting miracles attributed to the Virgin Mary.

 

In this place with full fun and adventure, the passengers & families can take bicycle tours, do hikes, Chiva tours (traditional-local transportation) along the Cascades Route to see the "Pailón del Diablo" waterfall, in Baños we have hot springs, zoo, look outs, too many restaurantes, bars for fun & for the more adventurous we have excursions to do Canyoning (rappelling down waterfalls), Rafting, Zipline, etc.

Itinerary:

 

DAY 1.-

  • Start at 10:00 am in the meeting point
    Travel to Waterfall Route
    Optional Zipline activity (extra cost)

  • Arrive & Visit to “Pailon del Diablo” Waterfall
    Return to Baños

  • Time for the lunch

  • In the afternoon: visit to “La Casa del Arbol”

  • lookout point to Tungurahua Volcano

  • Return to meeting point or hotel in Baños

  • Night in Hotel in Baños

 

DAY 2.-

  • Breakfast

  • Free morning in Baños for enjoy this traditional place

  • Optional: Canopy Tour, Rafting Tour, Biking tour,

  • Canyoning tour or Paragliding tour (extra cost)

  • Time for the lunch

  • In the afternoon: Return to Quito (if your program includes this transport)
