SOUTH PLAZAS ISLAND
Navigable Day tour
This small island is part of the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador, located off the east coast of Santa Cruz Island.
It covers an area of 12 hectares and has a maximum altitude of 23 meters. Its name is in honor of an Ecuadorian president, General Leónidas Plaza.
In this beautiful place, formed by a volcanic lava flow, you can observe one of the largest colonies of sea lions, land and marine iguanas, birds such as tropical birds, seagulls, and other species.
To reach Plazas Sur, we will take a 1 hour and 30-minute boat ride. Here we will enjoy a unique landscape with many local cacti, animals, a beautiful beach, and snorkeling surrounded by marine species that make this tour a very fun adventure.
