BARTOLOME ISLAND
Navigable Day tour
Bartolome is an island that forms part of the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador, it is an uninhabited place located at 36 kilometers north distance from Baltra Island & is a volcanic islet located in the Sullivan Bay; near the east coast of Santiago Island & it is one of the youngest islands in the Galapagos Archipelago.
On a sunny day, you can see more than 10 islands from the top of the lookout. Their diversity and richness are related to their food-rich marine currents, where very cold waters surround the coast and serve as food for numerous sea species.
It has Pinnacle Rock, formed by a cone of eroded, very porous and lightweight limestone. It is a well-known natural symbol on tours to the Galapagos Islands. In this beautiful place, you can find penguins living alongside sea lions, finches, and seabirds, among other species.
There is a golden sand beach at the foot of Pinnacle Rock, ideal for enjoying the beach and snorkeling surrounded by the park's animals.
