Day 1- TRANSFER IN airport-hotel

CHARLES DARWIN RESEARCH STATION

Arrive in BALTRA ISLAND. Transfer to SANTA CRUZ ISLAND. Accommodation. Lunch. In the afternoon, visit the CHARLES DARWIN RESEARCH STATION, which is a research center for the conservation of the marine and terrestrial ecosystems of the Galapagos, in addition to developing educational projects for the population aimed at the conservation of the Islands. Dinner.

ge1.pngDay 2- ISABELA– 1 night

Departure by boat to Puerto Villamil on ISABELA Island at 07h00. Box breakfast. Approximate sailing time: 2 hours. Accommodation.

CABO ROSA TUNNELS

At 11:00 departure from Puerto Villamil to the CABO ROSA TUNNELS. Navigation time 45 minutes per route. Known as the LAVA TUNNELS, it is one of the best places in the Galapagos for snorkeling because its waters are calm, transparent, clear and shallow.

They are formed by a series of arches, some of which protrude from the surface of the sea, vegetation grows on them, while in their inner part there are calm waters that have different colors depending on the rocks. Box lunch on board. Return at approximately 16:30. Dinner at the Port.

Day 3- GALAPAGOS BREEDING CENTER, FLAMINGO POZA - TINTORERAS ISLET

SANTA CRUZ.PM

 

Breakfast. In the morning, we will take a transport that will take us to the ARNALDO TUPIZA BREEDING CENTER where we will observe tortoises native from Isabela Island, then we will visit the POZA DE LOS FLAMINGOS.

 

Return to the hotel.

 

Then we will go by car to the dock to take the boat and take the BAHIA TOUR, we will take a small boat to the TINTORERA ISLET, we will disembark on land to take the walk along the path and observe the shark channel, sea lions, marine iguanas, etc.

 

On the way back we will take a panga ride to observe penguins and blue-footed boobies; and finally, the snorkeling activity. Lunch.

INCLUDES: SNORKELING EQUIPMENT (mask, tube and fins).

At 15:00 return to Santa Cruz Island. Accommodation. Dinner.

 

 

Day 4- TORTUGA BAY BEACH

HIGHLANDS - GALAPAGOS IN NATURAL HABITAT, LAVA TUNNELS, TWIN CRATERS

 

Breakfast. In the morning, we will walk to the magnificent and impressive TORTUGA BAY BEACH. It is characterized by its white sand and by the presence of a longitudinal dune that divides it into two beaches that contrast completely; one is calm and closed, ideal for kayaking; the other has strong and open waves, ideal for surfing. Its name is due to the fact that it is a nesting site for the black sea turtle. Lunch.

 

In the afternoon we will go to a private RANCH located in the HIGHLANDS of the Island. We will walk along marked paths among the vegetation typical of the place. Here we will find a large number of tortoises in their natural habitat.

 

We will cross a LAVA TUNNEL of approximately 800 meters in length. In addition, we will visit the TWIN CRATERS. Dinner.

 

Day 5- BARTOLOME (for example)

Breakfast will be at the hotel or on the boat. Very early in the

morning departure to BARTOLOME ISLAND. Here we visit one of the most beautiful places in the Archipelago for its incomparable lunar landscapes. From a viewpoint we can observe the landscape that makes up the two bays of Bartolomé, separated by a dune partially populated with mangroves. In one of these bays is the famous leaning tower of natural rock and a beach of golden sand where we will take a refreshing swim. In the other, we find a white sand beach and crystal-clear waters where we can see a large number of sharks, colorful Galapagos crabs, some penguins and sea lions. Lunch on board the yacht. Dinner.

Day 6- TRANSFER OUT

Breakfast. At indicated hour, transfer to BALTRA ISLAND to take the return flight.
